STEP 1: LOCATE THE DISHWASHER FILTER
Open the dishwasher to remove all the dishes and slide the drawer out. Look inside your washing machine. On the bottom of the dishwasher, you will see a round filter.
-
STEP 2: REMOVE THE Dishwasher FILTER
You will not need any tools to remove the filter. You will simply need to turn the filter counterclockwise. Next, lift the filter out, and place it in the sink. You will also notice a flat-screen on the bottom of the filter; remove that and place it in the sink as well.
-
STEP 3: CLEAN THE DISHWASHER FILTER
Use a soft brush to clean the water filter and the screen. When cleaning the water filter, be sure to remove all food residue, debris, and grime. Remember to clean the screen as well.
-
STEP 4: REASSEMBLE
Once the filter has been properly cleaned you can reinsert it back into the dishwasher. Place the screen down first, then reinsert the filter by placing it in the hole and turning it in a clockwise direction. Place the drawer back in the dishwasher and close the door. Be sure to clean your dishwasher water filter every few months to ensure proper cleaning of your dishes and the proper functioning of your dishwasher!
